Cardinal Building Systems, Inc. has been in business since 2003. We are a distributor of R-Control Structural Insulated Panels SIPs as well as other green and energy efficient products.

We at Cardinal Building Systems believe in holistic building principals, knowing that you structures quality as a whole is based on every product you use working together not just the abilities of one product alone.

We are based in Winchester, Virginia and are the exclusive distributors of the R-Control Panels in the Mid-Atlantic region covering New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, DC, North Carolina, New Jersey, and Delaware. But we will work with you no matter where you are located.

Richard Lloyd-Senior VP of Sales and Marketing
Richard has been in the construction business for 35+ years. He received a BA in Construction Technology from Fairmont State College. He has been directly involved with SIPs for more than 20 years as a builder and as the sales manager for R-Control before founding Cardinal Building Systems with his brother Mark.

Mark Lloyd-Vice President
Mark has been in the construction business for 30+ years. He has been directly involved with SIPs for more than 20 years as a builder and as the Plant manager for one of the R-Control plants before founding Cardinal Building Systems with his brother Richard.
